Commentaires du Broker
This X Yacht comes to Boatshed Portsmouth having been used regularly by her one and only current owner. I think she requires a touch of TLC as the owner has not been able to use her as much as he would like over the last 18 months. She would make a fast cruiser for anyone looking to go round the cans, the likes of the round the island race and comfortable cruising.
Comments from the owner :
I find sailing this boat an exceptionally fast, light and strong performance cruiser. Brilliantly designed by Niels Jeppesen, she was the demo X-302 (Mark 1 version) when the class was launched in 1994 and for this had extra features to which the owner has added a removable bimini with 2 solar panels, “Sea Feather” vane steering, transparent cockpit tent and full racing and cruising equipment. Recent new upholstery lightly used. She has been raced and extensively cruised in the English Channel and the Mediterranean.
The special features of the Mark 1, X-302 include lead keel, integral steel frame carrying all major loads, roller bearings on rudder shaft, deckhead moulding throughout for extra insulation, lifting lug on keelson with through-deck port for strop, flexible mast and rod rigging (replaced 2005), multiple electric circuits, teak cockpit floor and seats, extra-long bunks for six, light mahogany interior, shaped companionway steps.
These boat details are subject to contract.
