Commentaires du Broker
This Viking 70' Wide Beam has one of the best moorings in London and is now for sale with Boatshed London, the capital's biggest yacht brokerage.
Custom built in 2017 specifically for this mooring, the boat has an outstanding viewpoint over Greenland Dock and really gives you the feeling of space, light and life afloat. Viking Boat Builders have a deserved reputation for building quality boats and they worked with the original owner to create something special and unique. The main, open plan living area is large and bright and on sunny days, you can roll back the roof hatch and fill the space with daylight.
There are two cabins, one to the aft with its own ensuite heads and shower; the master suite is situated amidships with an enormous bathroom in the bow, again with views across the dock. It has a bath, separate shower and twin basins.
The galley is well equipped with SMEG fridge/freezer, dishwasher and gas oven and hob and this is a fantastic boat to entertain on. Then at weekends, you can drop your kayak or paddleboard into the water and paddle around the dock. This would make a great boat for a couple or young family and you'll struggle to find a boat in a better situation than this. Greenland Dock is a friendly community and being run by Southwark Council means the mooring fees are far cheaper than nearby marinas.
The boat was epoxied at new so it's coming up to the time when this will need to be renewed (probably 2024) but this is a boat you can move straight onto and really experience life on the water.
The residential mooring is fully transferable to the new owner (10% transfer fee of the sale price payable) and current mooring fees are £10,136 per annum. Council tax is payable and the berth is equipped with electricity, water and internet connection. Residents benefit from a pump out service that comes to them rather than having to move the boat themselves. There is street parking available all around the dock.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
