It's believed the engine was installed in 2019. There are engine manuals aboard, the engine control panel receives power. We do not know when the engine was last run, whether it was winterized prior to storage ashore or whether it will start and run, but believe there is a good change based on its age and visual appearance.

Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales is pleased to present for sale this Super Sovereign 35.
This vessel is being offered for sale due to unpaid yard storage fees, and as such, the information available is limited. The following details have been compiled based on our own inspection and a marine survey conducted in May 2021.
We understand that the vessel was in sound condition and appeared well maintained at the time of her last sale in December 2022. She sold for £35,000, which reflected her overall condition and the significant investment made around that period. Upgrades included (but were not limited to) a new Vetus diesel engine installed in 2019, a range of modern and high-quality navigational and electrical systems, and considerable attention to rigging and sails.
Since that time, the vessel has suffered damage to her keel and rudder—likely as a result of running aground—and has remained ashore for at least four years, during which time she has received little, if any, maintenance. As a result, she now shows signs of weathering, a build-up of dirt, water ingress, and possible flooding.
A copy of the 2021 survey report (PDF) is available on request. We strongly recommend reviewing both the survey and the photographs provided to assess whether a physical viewing is worthwhile. Please note that we are unable to provide further information beyond what is included here and in the survey.
The vessel will be sold with:
A current Bill of Sale
Previous Bills of Sale
A builder's declaration confirming UK VAT has been paid
Ship’s manuals and a comprehensive operator’s manual
We believe this is an opportunity to acquire a substantial yacht with plenty of valuable recent investment, We must however make it clear, the boat requires significant effort to return her to her former glory.
We welcome enquiries for the survey report and viewing appointments.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
