The Seamaster 8m is a spacious wide beam cruiser with aft cabin, but the two separate cabins make her ideal for a couple looking to do some extended cruising, or even as a live aboard.
We would describe this boat as a small project boat which benefits from several recent renovations and is only being sold due to health reasons by the current owners. She still needs a few things doing with the interior to bring her back to her former glory but most of the work has been done. The engine was totally refurbished in 2017 and the hull has just been rubbed down, repainted and anti-fouled. There is also a new fridge/freezer, new cockpit cover,area and also a new bilge pump.
Step onto the boat directly into the centre cockpit area, which gives great visibility, and can also give overhead shelter or with side panels in place can enclose the cockpit completely. This area also benefits from 2 new helm seats. The floor in the cockpit area has been reinforced. Under the floor here you will find the Perkins Diesel engine. There are also 3 new batteries on board, 2 leisure and one starter, and also benefits from an inverter. The prop shaft has also been recently checked and re-greased. Step down into the galley / saloon area which provides a large open plan space where the seating area converts into a double bed. The galley area consists of a full size oven, and 4 ring gas hob, and a brand new 12v fridge freezer, and a table which can seat up to 4 people. There is also a single sink and drainer and ample storage space under the seating / bed area and also cupboard space. There is a forward open plan cabin with a double berth. There are also 2 x 12V T.V's on board - but these would need to be checked by buyer. The Starboard / Port lighting can also be operated by remote control. All in all, this is a lot of boat for the money, due to all the recent extras which have been added.
