We are very pleased to present this 56ft R&D Dutch Barge.
She was built by R&D in Newark in 2007 and is powered by a Kubota based Nanni diesel 115 HP with very low hours. She also benefits from a fly-wheel generator and bow-thruster.
She has a chined hull, making her capable of coastal work and the Owner tells me she sails really well on rivers and canals.
The exterior of the boat has been maintained very well. She has been dry-docked twice in the last 10 years. In 2019 she was dry-docked and shot blasted on the water line and 2-pack finished.
She has a bright, roomy and fully collapsible wheelhouse and makes an ideal and comfortable live-aboard, with an open plan kitchen, cosy living room space, a single bedroom opposite the bathroom, and a roomy double bedroom in the bow. She benefits from oil-fired central heating throughout as well as a multi-fuel stove in the lounge area.
She has excellent headroom and good storage space and is light and airy thanks to the skylight windows, portholes and hatches.
