This solid design from Nordic Tugs launched the company in the Pacific Northwest. Hull #5 is an original with the character of cast bronze and teak interior trim. The interior has been upgraded with counters and upholstery. The exterior topsides and trim are in need of refinishing and painting. The hull dark green paint shows some wear that could be improved with normal maintenance.
Waterline Boats / Boatshed does not independently verify capacities and measures, which are reported from seller-provided information and/or literature.

Being the boat that launched a company, the Nordic Tugs 26 went out of production for some time as the company focused on larger models. Popular opinion drove the company to re-introduce this classic once again.
Our boat is hull number 5 from Nordic Tugs, and as such it shows as an original, but with serious upgrades. The Westerbeke 44B diesel engine has been run for only 212 hours since new. Along with this installation, a number of smart improvements have been made - like a bow thruster, smart alternator regulator for optimal battery charging underway, a Xantrex Inverter/Charger, and a complete, current navigation suite with Raymarine and Furuno navigation systems and Raymarine autopilot.
Back to the engine. Mitsubishi makes the reliable Westerbeke line. This 44 HP engine is optimized for economical cruising in this small boat. By operating the engine at an ideal power setting performance is maximized to suit operating load and maintain critical engine temperatures. Additionally, since this is a displacement boat, hull speed is achieved with no stress on the structure and with a high efficiency of a gallon per hour fuel consumption. If you need to run for a time at wide open throttle you can go faster and you can trust this late model engine when doing so.
All said, our boat is just super on the inside with new leatherette upholstery, clean headliner, new counter tops, and a great navigation suite with autopilot. An engine and supporting systems you can count on. On the outside, a new owner will want to repaint, refinish, and bring the exterior up to these new standards that lie more than skin deep.
These boat details are subject to contract.
