Broker's Comments
Stunning Nelson 18 launches like this are rare indeed. This one has had a considerable amount of time and money spent on her by her owner. She is fitted with a modern Beta 722, 20 HP engine, which provides excellent economy. She will be perfect for fishing, pottering and having fun on the water.
A brief summary of some of the work undertaken:
Hull- Professionally bead-blasted, epoxied and re-antifouled.
Deck- Plywood decking replaced and professionally covered with Permateek synthetic decking.
Rubbing strake replaced with rubber D section fender extrusion. Telescopic boarding ladder added.
Windows replaced with purpose-built aluminium framed windows.
Electrics- Blue 12 v and 240v switch panels installed, BEP Marine VSR unit, and new switch panel installation with bus bars and breakers.
Navigation- Instrument panel reconstructed and fitted. Simrad CE33 Plotter/fish-finder, cooling alarm, Simrad RD68VHF, Vetus wiper control with high powered Veteus motors fitted.
The total amount of work and upgrades are too extensive to list but available on request.
