Some boats seem to have a soul and this is certainly one of them. The open plan living room/dinette and huge front windows give her an airy, homely feel and the reclaimed oak floor is a joy under foot.
With it's low pendant lamp, the dining area makes a wonderful entertaining space complete with a view of the stove.
Moving aft, I would be hard pressed to call the 50's style kitchen a galley, complete with it's monochrome tiling and amongst the best cookers I have seen on a narrowboat.
The bathroom is delightfully tiled in Fire and Earth with some wonderful vintage touches.
The cabin, towards the rear of the boat, boasts a high bed with oodles of storage space beneath and a full sized mattress. Beyond this is an enormous wardrobe.
Although a 57' boat, and therefore able to access the whole system without difficulty, she feels very much larger inside and is a perfect live aboard, complete with galvanic isolator, battery monitoring system, twin alternators and an inverter for running modern day life away from the confines of shoreline.
