Samantha Gauld of Boatshed Newport with an update on the Tall Ships of 2012. After some research, I have been able to identify several other ships from my photos.

First we have the Lynx. She is a replica of a privateer built by Thomas Kemp in 1812. She was one of the first in fleet to defend American freedom by evading the British Navy then blockading American ports.

Next we have the Pride of Baltimore. She is a reproduction of an circa 1812 topsail schooner privateer. Her mission is to educate the public on U.S. maritime history and the state of Maryland commerce.

Lastly a cutie named the Lark. Quite easy to distinguish with her red sails, the Lark was built for the Forbes family of the U.S.A. So this is Sam of Boatshed Newport wrapping up the Tall Ships 2012 event here in beautiful Newport Rhode Island.
