This is a rare, twin diesel aft cabin version of the Canadian-built Fairbanks 32. Large windows and incredibly spacious, two stateroom, two head interior make this an ideal family cruiser or liveaboard.
The Fairbanks 32 Aft Cabin features a very spacious interior providing much more interior volume than is normally seen in a 32 foot yacht. One can board over the relatively wide swim step, even with a dinghy mounted, and up a ladder to the "sun deck". Alternatively one can board midships to the side deck and up stairs to the "sun deck". The sun deck area is enclosed with canvas and stainless railings. Additional stairs lead up to the fully enclosed flying bridge with three swivel seats or through a double door and down stairs into the main cabin.
The main cabin features an open layout combined with the galley which is forward and down stairs. The effect is of a much larger cabin with great headroom and long sight lines. There is good visibility to each side and forward. The helm station is on the upper level to starboard with a couch along the port side that can serve as a single berth. The twin Volvo diesel engines are located under the salon floor and accessed through removable floor panels. Cabin heat is provide by an Espar diesel forced air furnace system with outlets in all three cabins.
A roomy master stateroom aft features a queen size bed (with a thick, new mattress) to port and a large head and shower compartment to starboard. The full size shower area is forward of the head and counter. A large, opening window facing aft is provided in the aft cabin.
Forward of the main salon is the galley and dining area two steps down. Galley to port with four burner Wedgewood gas range and Nova Kool AC/DC refer unit. A microwave oven is located above the counter. A Wolter System 300 gas water heater is installed above the sink. A convertible dinette is across from the galley on the starboard side. It makes up into a double berth and features a really large icebox under the aft seat.
Forward from the galley/dining area is the bow or guest cabin with a large double berth and a separate head and shower to port. The bow cabin has large forward facing windows providing a bright, well-lit environment.

The Delta plow anchor is connected with 5/16" all chain rode estimated but not measured at 180'. A raw water washdown outlet is provided at the bow. A Livingston 8' fiberglass catamaran hard dinghy is mounted on Weaver "davits" off the swim step. The swim step is wide enough that it is still possible to board the boat via the swim step with the Livingston mounted. A block and tackle from the upper gunwhale of the Livingston to the rail on the sun deck allows the Livingston to be lowered or recovered while connected to the swim step with the Weaver system. Stainless steel fender holders are attached to the stainless steel railings which completely enclose the front, side and rear deck areas. Side decks are wide enough on both sides for easy access to the fore deck. The swim step provides good access to dock cleats at the stern when coming into the dock.

Commentaires du Broker
This is a rare, twin diesel aft cabin version of the Canadian-built Fairbanks 32. Large windows and incredibly spacious, two stateroom, two head interior make this an ideal family cruiser or liveaboard. This is a planing hull with two 200 HP Volvos capable of economical cruising or top speed up to 25 knots. The large bow and aft cabins with ensuite heads and showers provide exceptional accommodations for a 32 foot yacht. Total sleeping capacity of up to seven in three doubles and one single. The design and build quality is considerably better than most yachts of this size and this particular example has been carefully maintained in excellent condition.
