Boatshed London are delighted to offer this 20m Dutch Barge for sale with London mooring at Limehouse Basin, E14. This barge has been completely renovated inside and out in the last 12 months and is now a fabulous houseboat in one of London's best spots for liveaboards.
The main living area and galley is the heart of the barge, modern and bright thanks to the large skylights and there are three cabins making this boat suitable for a family.
This ex-sailing barge was originally built in 1896 but was surveyed and dry docked in 2020. The engine was also serviced in 2020 and for the more adventurous owners can be cruised on the river and will just about fit on the canal network too.
The internal refurbishment has been done to a high standard with a brand new multifuel stove, new kitchen, new bathroom, new flooring and repainting throughout. It's ready for its new owners to move straight into.
The leisure mooring at Limehouse Basin allows for full time usage but you don't have a residential address at the marina. The current mooring fee is £14,000 per annum approx. There is a 7.5% (of the sale price) transfer fee to acquire the mooring.
