Carvel mahogany planks over oak frames. Decks are teak over plywood. Length overall is near 60 feet. Many windows in the boat have been removed and restored to original condition. Exterior deck and trim surfaces have been chemically stripped, sanded and re-varnished. A hard top has been added over the rear aft deck. The dinghy davit lift has been moved aft, rebuilt and a new motor added. A glass sliding door between the helm station and the aft deck has been added. Fasteners were pulled 2 years ago for examination and found to be OK with a periodic watch recommendation.

While this boat was designed as a three cabin vessel the forward cabin has been used as a pantry with the bunks removed. The aft guest cabin is unfinished, paint stripped and awaiting new paint or remodel. The aft cabin is the master with ensuite head. It has been completely restored. Both aft heads have been restored, tiled and new lighting.
Entering the vessel from either side deck you access the covered and enclosed aft deck. Forward of that is the helm, a bar to port with sink and ice maker, a desk to port. Across on the starboard side is a custom antique cabinet used as a liquor cabinet.
Forward and down on the starboard side is the main saloon access. A large saloon with flat screen TV and sound system meets you midship. Aft is a companionway to the 2 heads and 2 cabins. Forward from the saloon is a galley to starboard and a booth style table to port. Much of this area has been paint stripped but still needs refinishing. Forward cabin and head are in that same condition.

The Chris Craft Constellations, in all their sizes, are iconic boats. The name "Constellation" alone conjures up images of greatness. That they were well-built explains why there are still so many of the classic woodies around. This particular vessel has seen a great deal of restoration work, which makes it particularly fresh. It is "boathouse kept" in a transferrable live-aboard slip within walking distance of downtown Seattle.
