Bavaria, Jeanneau, Sealine or Bayliner for sale, we love all kinds of boats here at Boatshed; but who are we? Here’s a brief introduction to some of the people behind Boatshed Essex.

Peggy Melmoth handles the blogging and social media for Boatshed Essex. She bought her first boat in the year 2000 and has lived aboard ever since. Her first boat was a 45ft cruiser stern narrowboat and she now lives on a 70ft trad stern narrowboat (bought through Boatshed) with her husband and two young daughters. If you have any queries about the practicalities of living aboard you can contact Peggy directly through our Facebook and Twitter pages. Peggy’s also written a short eBook about boating in Essex, which is available for free on our Facebook page.

Steve Booth has always like water based sports including sailing and canoeing. He started off dinghy sailing, and his first ‘proper’ boat was a Hurley 22. Steve’s been a Boatshed broker for six years and loves the people you meet through boats and boating. He also loves being his own boss! Find out more in an interview with Steve.

When you visit our office in North Fambridge you can view large screens with high quality images of boats, plus up to date weather, tidal and nautical information. Knowledgeable staff coupled with a professional but relaxed environment makes the Boatshed Essex office a pleasurable and effective place to do business.

If you have any questions, or if you have a boat for sale do get in touch: we’re very friendly!

Peggy
